Board of Directors Mtg Brief ... by Mary Giroux  Your Board of Directors met on Thursday, October 16th.Attendees: Andy Stevens, Mary Giroux, Dillon Brown, Evie Schaffer,Jay Stith, Bill Buterbaugh Minutes: Minutes of the previous meeting were approved. Financials: Jay reported on club financials which are in good shape. The CD for the Karen Price scholarship fund was renewed. Worthy Causes: The following expenditures were approved: • Haiti Eye Clinic • High School Women’s Rights club to fund attendance of students at 1 st Amendment 1st Vote • Odessey of the Mind • Skaneateles Foundation for Dickens • Schweinfurth Museum Youth Exchange Update: Currently Jay Stith and Pam Stern work on the program. Additional club members are needed to make the program work. This will be addressed at our October 30 Club Assembly. Club meetings/structure/officers: • A Club Assembly is scheduled for the October 30 meeting to seek input from club members on projects, worthy cause issues, member engagement and the Rotary Foundation vs Skaneateles Rotary Foundation. • Officers for the 2026/2027 Rotary year need to be voted on. This is planned for a mid-November meeting. Club members will be asked for their interest at the October 30 Club Assembly. Guest Speaker Schedule: Currently being coordinated by Bill Buterbaugh. Several speakers have been scheduled, and a new meeting schedule will be provided by Bill B. Update on Rotary signs: Andy received a quote for new signs when entering Skaneateles. The Sunrise Club will be consulted regarding their expense sharing. Review of Andy’s draft presentation: Andy gave the Board a preview of his presentation for the October 30 Club Assembly.
