Last Week Jun 01, 2023 .... by Mary The Beginnings: President Ed welcomed our guests: Mike Panasci (Ayham's friend), Pam Stern (Syracuse Sunrise Rotarian), and outbound exchange students: Lily Bennett, Kaitlyn Yengo, and Ella Buchholz. The Program: Lee Bennett introduced our 2023-24 Outgoing Youth Exchange Students: Lily Bennett, Kaitlyn Yengo and Ella Buchholz. These three young women are enthusiastically looking forward to their upcoming adventures abroad. Lily is headed to Brazil where she will be in a school with only 34 students and is excited about experiencing a new culture. Kaitlyn who is in 10th grade will be going to Italy. Ella will be spending a "gap" year in the French speaking region of Belgium. We are so happy to be sponsoring these young women and look forward to hearing about their experiences next year. We had 23 members attending last week's meeting! |
