PRESIDENTS' CORNER ... by Pres., Mary Giroux
I'd like to thank each and everyone for their involvement in the club over the last few weeks. We had a very successful fundraiser with donations totaling over $12,000 as some last minute checks come in. A total of 35 adult coats were donated to the Outreach program. Sharing with and caring for our neighbors and friends is what this season is all about as well as being what Rotary is all about.
LAST WEEK: .... by Bill Conole Annual Club Christmas Part Forty five Rotarians, spouses & guests gathered in the Sherwood Inn to celebrate the season. Everyone enjoyed their delicious Inn dinners which were topped off with a very tasty cheesecake dessert. After dinner Roberta Williams, Lee Overstrom, Bill Conole & Mary Giroux led everyone on a Holiday Sing-A-Long. Cheryl Silvestrini provided the sing along sheets. In keeping with the season everyone was in fine voice. Within a few songs our Rotarians & guest had the room rocking with festive seasonal songs. In keeping with our club tradition our sing along ended with everyone singing Silent Night. Thanks to Cheryl, Ward, Mary Giroux & all of the members who pitched in to make the night a memorable one.
