OUR ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE
LONG TERM EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Outbound - 2015-16 Rotary Youth Exchange Outbound students have departed for a year as exchange students abroad. Sofia Darovskikh, to Finland, and Zach Driscoll to Germany. We wish them all the best on their "adventure of a lifetime".
Inbound - student have moved to their third host families: Vincent , from France, hosted by Mike & Mary Hearn, and Daniela from Chile, hosted by Alice & Gerry Purdy.
Outbound - 2016-17 - Emma Bohrer, to Japan & Emily Norris, to Italy
Inbound - 2016-17 - Josep Toro from Spain, Benjamin Matterlehner from Austria & Elisa Riaud from France
SHORT TERM EXCHANGE PROGRAM (STEP)
Amelia Huba will travel to Koeflach, Austria in July 2016 and return with her host sister in August.
Hope Glowacki has spent a few weeks during the summer of 2015 in Sicily, Italy and her host sister, Irene returned with her to Skaneateles for a few weeks.
Adrianna Marshall traveled during the summer of 2015 to Thuringia, Germany and his host sister, Constanze, returned to Skaneateles for an exchange.

In a warm, emotional farewell address, outgoing President Cheryl Silvestrini thanked all of her Rotary Club friends for making her second six month tenure as Club President so enjoyable and fruitful. Cheryl emphasized that she feels privileged to be part of such an active, loyal & friendly club. Cheryl said she was honored to serve our club as President for the past six months. Now that our wonderful community event yesterday is over Kathy Crelot has a deadline to meet in order to get things deposited and squared away. Some of you turned in your dollars yesterday. Kathy advises that there are still 20 Rotarians that she has not heard from.
