Skantarians Tidied up Hwy 20 ... by WardOn Saturday morning of the 3rd, five hardy Rotarians suited up to clear the trash along Hwy 20, from the western village limit to County Line Rd. They collect five trash bags full of discarded treasures of unknown origin and value, which is to be donated to NY State Highway Department. We understand that Marv wore long pants this year (we're not too sure of reason why, but we at itching to know).
The magnificent five were: Marv, Jay, Ed, Joe & Chuck O. Kudos to the crew their contribution to the beautification of our town & village.
