Last Thursday’s (May 19, 2016_ Spring Fling at the Welch Allyn Lodge was justwhat our membership needed: A beautiful setting,good food, great music, and the opportunity to talk, relax, and meet newpeople. We had 30 members, 32 guests, plus 4 of our Youth Exchange students in attendance.
First, we enjoyed drinks out on the deck overlooking the pond and inside near the fire while listening to the incredible musical talent of Loren Barrier. Then we had a delicious buffet dinner and the winners of theraffle were announced. Gard Lorey won agolf umbrella donated by the Skaneateles Country Club; June Vuillemot won agift basket from Lockwood Lavender Farm; and Cathy Powell won a $30 giftcertificate to Osteria Salina in Auburn. After dessert and coffee, Loren kindly offered to play forus again.

Many people danced while others continued to chat and enjoy drinksfrom the cash bar.
